A bit about me

I have spent more than fifteen years tutoring English, most recently in Vietnam, working with students from complete beginners through to people sitting IELTS for university or immigration.

Most of the students I meet understand far more English than they can say out loud. They have studied grammar for years and still freeze when someone asks them a question. That gap is what these classes are built around: getting the words out, being understood, and building enough confidence to keep going when a sentence does not come out right the first time.

Classes are small and taught live. You get corrected as you speak, and your written work comes back with real comments on it rather than a score. If you are not sure where to start, take the level check and we can talk about it from there.
